Game 01 — Psychological horror

Pixel Nightshift: The Vesta Protocol

Animation: the operator carries a crate to the delivery truck outside the logistics building.

You are the night shift operator at Vesta Robotics. The job is simple: read the terminal, pull parts from the dark warehouse, pack the cargo, load the truck. The routine holds for a while. Then small things stop matching the paperwork.

The night shift

Distant echoes fill an empty facility. Inside there is only you, the terminal, and crates waiting to be dispatched.

A rigid routine

Read orders, collect parts, pack the cargo, load the truck. A structure that slowly begins to fracture.

System verification

Nine protocol mini games gate each shift. They test your focus, and the system grows more erratic every night.

The unraveling

Shifted boxes, flickering lights, figures in the dark. Small choices ripple forward into one of two endings.

Animation: a glitching Pong-style verification mini game on the terminal screen.
Animation: the warehouse floor distorting during a system glitch.

AI disclosure: generative AI tools were used during development for pre-rendered assets — pixel art that was then edited and refined by hand, character voiceovers, and code. All of it is static in the game files. Nothing is generated live during play.

Game 02 — Mystery

Pixel Detective: Curse of the Paintings

Animation: Nathan takes a phone call in his office, lit by a fireplace.

Step into the shoes of Nathan, a seasoned private investigator, as a cryptic phone call draws him into a case filled with secrets, strange paintings, and suspicious characters. Interrogate suspects, examine clues, and uncover the details everyone else walked past.

A quiet office, a disturbing call

A routine day is interrupted by a phone call, and nothing feels quite right afterwards.

Late-night talks at the bar

Conversations flow as smoothly as the drinks. Secrets slip in between the sips.

Culinary alchemy

An award-winning cookbook with a curious reputation. Not your average recipe book. Poison included.

Look closer

Hidden objects, contradictory statements, and paintings that reward a second visit.

Animation: Nathan and another man at the bar, seen from behind.

About

One person, one pair of hands

NorthLightPixels is a one-person studio. Everything you see, from the pixels to the code to the sound, is made by the same pair of hands.

We make short games on purpose. A game you finish in one sitting and keep thinking about afterwards is worth more than a long one you never finish. Built in Godot, at 320×180.
